Purchasing Tickets

  • Vallejo Ticket Office hours: Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 5:00 PM; Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. To accommodate customers who wish to purchase a monthly pass, the Ticket Office will open at 5:00 AM for monthly pass sales on the first and last two weekdays of the month excluding holidays. In addition, when there is a weekday night Giants game, the Ticket Office will stay open until 5:45 PM to accommodate customers taking the 5:45 PM Vallejo departure to the San Francisco Ferry Building.
  • School groups please use our School Group Request Form. Please note that school group requests must be processed, approved, and paid-in-full at least 72 hours prior to your sailing date to receive a group rate discount.
  • Tickets are sold at the Vallejo Ferry Terminal ticket office at 289 Mare Island Way, Vallejo; Bay Crossings in the SF Ferry Building; and, Blue & Gold Fleet at SF Pier 41 terminal.
  • If ferry ticket offices are closed, full-fare, one-way tickets may be purchased onboard – cash and credit cards accepted.
  • We accept cash, VISA and MasterCard at the ferry ticket office. Commuter checks can be used for the purchase of passes at participating ticket outlets.
  • Transferring to or from MUNI using your Clipper Card? Adult San Francisco Bay Ferry passengers using Clipper receive a $0.50 transfer discount when transferring between the ferry and MUNI. The discount is provided both to and from the ferry.
  • Tickets may only be used on the ferry route for which they were originally purchased.
  • All tickets are nonrefundable.

Vallejo Ferry Terminal Address: 289 Mare Island Way Vallejo, CA 94590. Within the Ferry Terminal you will find the Ferry Terminal Ticket Office, Panama Red's, and the Vallejo Convention & Visitors Bureau. Search nearby locations or get directions to the Vallejo Terminal.

Ticket Office:
Vallejo Ticket Office hours are: Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 5:00 PM Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Parking in Vallejo:
Daily and monthly paid parking is available directly across from the terminal in the City of Vallejo’s waterfront parking garage. Daily permits can be purchased at the machines which accept cash or credit card throughout the garage. Have your vehicle’s license plate number when you use the machine to reduce purchase time. To purchase a monthly permit for the City of Vallejo’s waterfront garage, please visit the City’s website.

San Francisco Ferry Building Terminal Address: 1 Ferry Bldg San Francisco, CA 94105. The Vallejo Route ferry arrives and departs from Gate B located at the north end of the Ferry Building. The Alameda/Oakland and Harbor Bay Route ferries arrive and depart from the South Terminal (Gate E), located approximately one block from Pier ½ on the south end of the Ferry Building. Search nearby locations or get directions to San Francisco Ferry Building.

Parking in San Francisco: Parking is limited around the ferry terminal. Riders are encouraged to use public transportation when boarding the ferry at the SF Ferry Building.

Public Transit Options: Transit options near the San Francisco Ferry Building include BART and MUNI buses, trolleys and light rail. In addition, connecting Golden Gate Transit ferries to Marin County (Tiburon, Sausalito, Larkspur), and San Francisco Bay Ferries to Oakland, Alameda Main St and Harbor Bay arrive and depart from the Ferry Building.

Parking at Pier 41: Parking is available at an hourly fee in the Pier 39 parking garage, located across the Embarcadero from Pier 41 and Pier 39.

Free Bus Transfers with Ferry Ticket Purchase EAST BAY Bus Transfers - Every ferry ticket comes with an attached AC Transit bus transfer allowing ferry riders free AC Bus ridership to and from Clay Street (Jack London Square) ferry terminal or the Alameda (Main Street) ferry terminal. SAN FRANCISCO Bus Transfers - Only ferry tickets in the 10, 20, and 40 ticket books include MUNI transfers. Transfers are valid on MUNI buses, trolleys and light rail with no surcharge. A cable car surcharge is required. MUNI transfers must be validated onboard the ferry before use. MUNI transfers from the ferry terminal are valid for two hours from the time stamped on the transfer ticket. On MUNI from the ferry, give the detached, validated MUNI stub to the driver for validation. MUNI transfers to the ferry terminal are valid until midnight of the date issued. ON MUNI to the ferry, present the MUNI stub with the ferry ticket attached. An additional charge is required for cable cars. Some restrictions apply.
